Title: High Tibial Osteotomy: How to Get it Right and Avoid Complications

 

Course Description:

This course will look at several case-based lectures including:

  • High Tibial Osteotomy: How to Get it Right and Avoid Complications
  • Preoperative planning, traditional method, isolated high tibial osteotomy
  • Advanced Tibial Osteotomy Using Computer Planning and Patient Specific Instrumentation with Cartilage Procedures
  • Complex Tibial Osteotomies
  • Combined Tibial Femoral Osteotomies  

 

Learning Objectives:

  • The participant will learn the role of HTO in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis including patient selection, pre op planning, and osteotomy pearls.         
  • The participant will see a broad range of methods to address varus deformity of the tibia including traditional and modern computer techniques        
  • This will be case based and focusing on complications and how to avoid them.
