Her talk title is: “Biologic Approach for Articular Cartilage Repair” and she will share findings from her AOSSM-JRF Ortho funded study.

Seamless integrative healing across the graft-patient articular cartilage interface does not occur following osteochondral allografting (OCA) and this is thought to relate to eventual OCA failure. Through this AOSSM-JRF Ortho funded project we have identified a factor that stimulates growth and regenerative responses required for cartilage integrative healing in a human ex vivo OCA model.
