This live webinar will focus on the anatomical and clinical review of ligament injuries of the knee other than the anterior cruciate ligament – the medial collateral ligament/posteromedial corner, the lateral collateral ligament/posterolateral corner, and the posterior cruciate ligament. Presentations will outline how to evaluate these injuries as well as describe surgical indications and approaches pertaining to both isolated ligament and multiligamentous knee injuries.

Justin Ernat, M.D., MHA specializes in orthopaedic sports medicine with a surgical focus on the knee and shoulder. He received his undergraduate education at Illinois Wesleyan University where he received a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, magna cum laude. He would go on to attend medical school at The Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University where he was selected to the Gold Humanism in Medicine Honor Society. He joined the United States Army and completed orthopedic surgical residency training at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, HI. After residency, Justin served as an active-duty orthopedic surgeon at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital, Fort Campbell, KY. Upon completing 9 years of service in the Army, he completed a fellowship in orthopaedic sports medicine surgery at the world-renowned Steadman Clinic and Steadman Philippon Research Institute in Vail, Colorado.

He is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, has published multiple orthopedic research papers, and has presented his research at national and international meetings. His practice includes management of knee and shoulder pathologies in addition to all sports-related injuries.

	David Bernholt, M.D. is the Division Chief of Sports Medicine at the Campbell Clinic / University Tennessee Health Science Center. He is a fellowship-trained sports medicine orthopedic surgeon specializing in complex knee surgery including a high volume of multiligamentous knee reconstruction. Dr. Bernholt earned his medical degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Washington University in St. Louis, followed by a fellowship in sports medicine at the Steadman Clinic in Vail, CO. He is active in research with more than 50 peer-reviewed publications and has received the AOSSM Steven P. Arnoczky Young Investigator Grant as well as an OREF Resident Clinician Scientist Grant. He currently serves on committees for both AOSSM and AANA. He serves as the head team physician of the Memphis Redbirds Triple AAA baseball team, and associate team physician for Memphis Tigers athletics and the Memphis Showboats, as well as a member of the US Ski and Snowboard medical pool.
	Matthew Matava, M.D. is a Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Washington University in St. Louis and the Director of the Sports Medicine Fellowship. Dr. Matava earned his Medical Degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, Six-Year Combined B.A./M.D. Program. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, followed by a fellowship in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery at the Cincinnati Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Center. He is the recipient of several research awards including the AAOS Kappa Delta Award, the AOSSM O’Donoghue Award and the NCAA Research Award. Dr. Matava is currently the Medical Director of the NHL's St. Louis Blues and has cared for team for the past 28 years. He was the Head Team Physician for the St. Louis Rams for 16 years and was president of the National Football League Physicians Society from 2013-2015. He is currently the Medical Director for the St. Louis Battlehawks (UFL) and a team physician for the Washington University varsity athletes. Dr. Matava has authored over 220 peer-reviewed publications dealing with orthopedic sports medicine topics. In 2019 he was inducted into the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame. Dr. Matava specializes in sports-related injuries in adults and children.
	Armando F. Vidal, M.D. is an Orthopedic Sports Medicine surgeon at the Steadman Clinic in Vail, CO. His practice focuses on complex cartilage restoration, osteotomies, ACL reconstruction and complex revision knee surgeries. Dr. Vidal attended the University of Miami (Miami, FL) for undergraduate and medical school. He completed his residency at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York and subsequently a Sports Medicine and Shoulder Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC). After completion of his training, Dr. Vidal joined the faculty of the University of Colorado School of Medicine where he served as faculty from 2006 – 2019 prior to joining the Steadman Clinic in Vail, CO. As faculty at the University of Colorado, Dr. Vidal was Associate Professor in the Division of Sports Medicine and served in various roles over the years including Associate Fellowship Director, Chair of the Department Finance Committee, Executive Vice Chair and Head Team Physician for the Denver Nuggets. Dr. Vidal is actively involved in several societies including the AAOS, AOSSM and AOA. He recently served on the Board of Directors of the AOSSM as the Under-45 member at large from 2018-2020 and has served on the AAOS BOD since 2021.
