Optimizing Telehealth in Sports Medicine
This compact, convenient program provides a greater understanding of best practices for the sports medicine provider to utilize telehealth. A series of three webinars includes techniques on the virtual physical exam of the knee, shoulder, and hip. Medical-legal consideration from the physician and attorney perspective, and strategies for reimbursement are discussed. Integration of clinical experience with optimal implementation of telehealth from experts in various practice settings to help you get the most out the virtual encounters.
Learning Objectives:
- Practice techniques for virtual physical exam of the knee, shoulder, and hip
- Choose ideal patients and utilize telehealth to optimize your practice
- Apply optimal billing practices and reimbursement for telehealth encounters
- Describe legal consideration at the local, state, and national level
- Perform a complete physical exam, radiographic analysis, and then determine and identify non-operative and operative treatment plans
- Employ novel strategies to implement telehealth in practice, outreach, and training
