LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this educational activity, participants should be able to:

Discuss that proximal tibial osteotomy for osteoarthritis, cartilage defects, or symptomatic malalignment leads to high rates of return to work and return to sport.
Explain that proximal tibial osteotomy is associated with low complication rates and low conversion to total knee arthroplasty.
Discuss that the current available literature on proximal tibial osteotomy is limited by heterogeneity in indications, techniques, and outcomes reported.
