I'd like to welcome Jim Bradley, our chair of our nominating committee. Good afternoon. I'm Jim Bradley. I'm the chair of the nominating committee. I want to make a personal thing that you don't know how hard it is to be the president. And Kurt did a fantastic job with this new venue. I mean, and the professional staff. I mean, we are really, really lucky to have leadership like that. So my personal thanks to Kurt and the staff. So this is the report of the nominating committee. I'm the chair. The nominating committee members last year was me as the chair, Chuck Busjoseph, Tom DiBernardino, Pete Indelicato, Gus Mazzacca, Brett Owens, Miho Tanaka, and Michael Ciccotti as the ex officio. The nominees for the board of directors for vice president, Christopher Kading from Ohio State University, member at large over 45, Matthew Preventer from Vail, Colorado, and member at large under 45 was Ashish Bedi from Chicago. We're going to have a vote. All in favor. Please raise your hands. Opposed? Motion passes. So I want to introduce my good friend, Bob Burks, as the secretary. And he'll take over from here. Thanks, Jim. So we'll advance here. So these are the members that are ineligible to serve on the nominating committee. You have to be an active member to serve. And we would like to open nominations. When you look at the society and what Kurt was talking about and where it's gone, this is all from the leaders that get picked from this. So it's an important process. There's a microphone right down here in the middle. It's a little hard to see if you're on one of the sides. But if you come down to the mic down here, we'll go ahead and take nominations for the 2022-2023 nominating committee. Can we get that mic? Yeah, go ahead, sir. I'd like to nominate Jeff Guy. OK, Jeff Guy. Oh, wow. Hey, man. Hey, Bob. I'd like to nominate Steve Cohen from Rothman, Philadelphia. OK, Steve Cohen. I'd like to nominate Darryl Anspaugh. Whoever's keeping that, did they get it? Because there's a little reverberation. It's kind of hard to get all that. I just want to be sure that the people keeping it, like Mari and whatnot. You got it? Did I get it? OK, good. I'd like to nominate Kevin Farmer. I'd like to nominate Bob Marks. I'd like to nominate Bradley Nelson. Martha Murray. Constance Chu. I'd like to nominate Cassandra Lee. And I'd like to nominate Dr. Kate Ritter. I'd like to nominate Robert Stanton. Any further nominations anywhere? OK, I guess we have our slate. We'll move on, keep it short. Now, our new member class, this next year, we have 320 new members. Bear with me while I read all their names. You can see the candidates listed there. I'm only kidding, don't worry. And 2021, 130 upgraded members. So our new active members are listed. New affiliate, we get into our new candidate members. Obviously, this is the bottom, the beginning of the society. And they're critical to our moving forward. So we encourage them to become part of the team, as Kurt talked about. Quite a list. We like it. New international members and MD affiliate members, obviously, certainly welcome to them. And then our new resident members. And again, these are very important people for us. And we encourage them moving on, ultimately, to being active members. And these are the candidate members who upgraded to active members, which kind of keeps our society going. So with that, I guess, Kurt, do you have anything else? Or I'll bring Kurt back up. And I'd like to echo Jim Bradley being on the board. Kurt has been a real honor to have him as the 50th president. So I want to acknowledge several outgoing committee chairs. Nathan Scully, chair of the Bylaws Committee. Stephen Brockmeyer, former chair of the Education Committee. Christopher Roach, chair of the Enduring Education Committee. Grant Jones, chair of the Publication Committee. Ashish Bedi, chair of the Research Committee. And Matt Smith, chair of the Fellowship Committee. Can we all give them a round of applause and want to acknowledge them? I also want to acknowledge Jim Bradley, who's now leaving the presidential line. And I want to thank him for his open, honest, as always, communication with me, and great ideas. And Jim, you're going to be missed. And thank you so much. Last thing, is there any new business from the floor? OK. We can adjourn, celebrate 50 years. And I'll be back for the presidential speaker, Clark Kellogg, which I think will be fantastic. So thank you so much. And the video will be then. I was wrong. It'll be right before Clark Kellogg, the video play again. Thank you.
